King Delgal is the now-deceased king of the "golden kingdom"; the underground castle and surroundings that make up the titular dungeon of dungeon meshi. He grew up alongside Thistle (dungeon meshi), his father's court jester/adopted son/court wizard. Yaad (dungeon meshi) is his grandson.
