The extra pages of Chainsaw Man Volume 8 show a young Kishibe (Chainsaw Man) trying to ask out Quanxi (Chainsaw Man) for a date and gets hit every time he asks that.
But after asking relentlessly to date Quanxi (Chainsaw Man) for 9 years and even confessing his feelings for her, Kishibe gets rejected as Quanxi (Chainsaw Man) says she might be into girls. To which Kishibe (Chainsaw Man) says that he knew all along. The extra also tells us that both Kishibe (Chainsaw Man) and Quanxi (Chainsaw Man) used to be partners.
