The flag used by Manchukuo between 1932 and 1945. The flag features the "Five Races Under One Union" motif borrowed from the Beiyang goverments flag. The colours represent the five largest ethnic groups living in Manchuria (Manchukuo):
Yellow represents the Manchu people
Red represents the Han Chinese
Blue represents the Mongol
White represents the Hui people
Black represents the Koreans
