rotisserie
A style of roasting where meat is skewered on a long solid rod call a spit that is used to hold food while it is being cooked over a fire or roasted in an oven.
Subtypes:
- Vertical rotisserie: A rotisserie where the spit is vertical. A common feature of gyros and Doner kebabs.
