A playable character from Fire Emblem Gaiden and its remake, Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, who is recruitable in Celica (Fire Emblem)’s route. She is Jedah (Fire Emblem)’s daughter, who seeks vengeance against her father for turning her older sisters, Marla (Fire Emblem) and Hestia (Fire Emblem), into witches. She also serves the Bandit King Grieth (Fire Emblem), alongside Deen (Fire Emblem Gaiden), but secretly hates him.
Her original Gaiden design gave Sonya long, red hair with a two-tone cape and a red dress. Her redesign in Echoes retains many of these features, but recolors her hair to purple and changing its style. Her dress also now has a red and black pattern, and her cape is now purple on the inside. Additionally, Sonya possesses a circlet and a pair of diamond-shaped earrings.
Not to be confused with Sonia (fire emblem: the blazing blade) from Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade.
