The Sturmpistole ("assault-pistol") was an modified World War II-era German flare gun (commonly Walther Kampfpistole model) which could fire a variety of grenades, such as 600 g charge Panzerwurfkörper 42 for anti-tank purpose.
Its concept was eventually phased out.
