A character who alternates between a dangerously obsessive and a loving (deredere) personality.
Their affection mixes with extreme insecurities to create a type of love that is entirely insane and generally violent. The homicidal feelings differ from character to character. Some direct their attacks against the one whom they desire, while others direct it against anyone who gets too close to the person they love.
This tag is for characters displaying this personality trait through their words or actions. Do not use it simply because the character is canonically yandere.
