ak-74
The AK-74 (Автомат Калашникова образца 1974 года 'Kalashnikov assault rifle model 1974') is a 5.45×39mm assault rifle, developed in Izhevsk Mechanical Plant, 1974. It largely replaced the larger-caliber AKM in Soviet service, and many of its parts are interchangeable with the earlier AKs. First used by Soviet forces during the Afghanistan_conflict from 1979.

* Common presence of synthetic brown/orange furniture (pistol grip and handguard), as well as the magazines.
* Distinctive, longer, non-canted muzzle device/muzzle device.
* Fixed stock has elongated indentations on both sides.
* Less-curved magazine profile due to smaller cartridges.
* Stamped receiver with visible rivets and smaller rectangular indentation on it.
