assault_lily


A mixed-media franchise that began in 2013 as a series of 1/12 scale action figures from Azone International. The figures are based on Azone's Picco Neemo doll line and thus compatible with the 1/12 fabric clothes produced by them and 3rd parties.


Artists that have done character key illustrations for the franchise include Yaegashi Nan, Nauribon and Hotaru.


The background story is set in the near future, where mankind is under threat by mysterious giant monsters called Huge that can only be fought by Lilies—girls who can use weapons called CHARMs to channel the power of Magie. Lilies fight in teams of five or more known as "Legions," and attend academies known as "Gardens" which train and command them.


Other parts of the media mix include ongoing stage plays since 2016; several light novels and webnovels; two anime series, Assault Lily: Bouquet and Assault Lily: Fruits; and a social game for phones and PCs, Assault Lily: Last Bullet, that began service in early 2021.
