c-46_commando
A twin-engined World_War_II military transport known mainly for its role in flying supplies over the Himalayas to Allied troops in China. The round-nosed C-46 looked much like a fatter, bigger-tailed version of its contemporary, the more numerous Douglas C-47 Skytrain.
