Osman, released in Japan as Cannon-Dancer (キャノンダンサー), is a side-scrolling 2D action platforming video game produced by Mitchell Corporation (which later became part of ATLUS). It was released exclusively as a coin operated arcade video game in 1996.
The game's director, Yotsui Kouichi (credited as Isuke), was also the director of the original arcade version of ]] and Osman is often referred to as "more Strider-like than Capcom's Strider 2". In contrast to Strider's futuristic [[Kazakhstan|Kazakh-NeoSoviet setting, Osman is set in a neon-lit cyberpunk Arabian setting, while Strider Hiryuu is replaced by a Middle Eastern protagonist named Osman (Kirin) who fights without any weapons.
