Cassiopeia is a constellation located in the Northern celestial hemisphere. It is named after the queen Cassiopeia, mother of Andromeda, in Greek mythology. Its brightest star is Schedar.
Cassiopeia is an easily recognizable constellation. Its five bright stars form a slightly irregular letter W (or M).
