A talented Trainer who is both a Gym Leader and a teacher in the Unova region, he is committed to fulfilling both roles—even though he's just starting out (official bio). His signature Pokémon is Stoutland.
In his B2W2 outfit, he has blue eyes and short hair with an ahoge. He wears a collared shirt with rolled up sleeves, a necktie with a tie clip, a black buckled belt, pants, black socks, and brown shoes.
