A dress suitable at semi-formal clothes occasions, sometimes called cocktail parties.
Cocktail dresses emphasize practicality. They are traditionally meant for cocktail parties, but can also be worn at bars, clubs and parties in a modern setting. Because of the practicality emphasis they are short to medium length. If the dress is mid-calf to full-length, consider using evening gown instead.
