A series of paintings by Cassius Marcellus Coolidge featuring anthromorphosized dogs, most of which having them seated at a card table while playing some sort of game. Arguably the best known and most parodied of the paintings is the one painted in 1903 titled A Friend in Need, depicting one dog trying to surreptitiously pass an ace to another using its hind paw.
