For Danbooru purposes, a magazine for a handgun that protrudes well beyond the weapon's handgrip. Such a device markedly boosts the ammunition capacity over normal and makes a strong visual impact.
Technically this term could apply to any firearm with an exposed box magazine in different capacities, but the contrast is not nearly so obvious.
