A series of action-oriented games.
Loosely based on Greek mythology, the initial trilogy focuses on the protagonist ]] and forms part of a saga with vengeance as a central theme; with him taking vengeance on the Greek Pantheon - especially his father [[Zeus (God of War)|.
The next two games in the series follows Kratos' journey in the Norse realm, where he continues raising his young son Atreus in the wake of his wife Faye's death.
