honjou_kirou
Honjou Kirou (1901 - April 21, 1990) was an aircraft designer and engineer who worked with Mitsubishi (and Horikoshi Jirou) during World War II. He was Jirou's senior in the company and co-designed several bomber aircraft of the Imperial Japanese Navy, namely the Mitsubishi_G3M and G4M.
He appears in the 2013 film Kaze Tachinu (The Wind Rises) albeit he is incorrectly portrayed as a close colleague of Jirou. He is voiced by Nishijima Hidetoshi (JP) and John Krasinski (EN).
