j-core
Japanese hardcore techno scene associated with doujin music and rhythm games. Pioneered in the late 90s and early 2000s by duo DJ_Sharpnel, derived from the earlier Nerdcore Techno genre that J-core would come to overshadow. Today, J-core is popular around the world due to its use in games and online.
