Her mecha of choice is the ATAC Spartas.
She can be a very jovial, funny, cheerful and childish character during peacetime, but also a serious capable leader and an intrepid, brave warrior during combat.
In the original series her name and character were inspired by those of legendary French heroine Joan_of_Arc.
In the adapted, English-language ROBOTECH anime for North American audiences, this character was renamed Dana Sterling.
