A 1999 anime feature film directed by Hiroyuki Okiura, and written by Oshii Mamoru as part of Oshii's Kerberos Saga universe.
A prequel to the 1987 film The_Red_Spectacles, the film is set in an alternate_outcome_of_WWII during the 1950s after Germany withdrew Japan and the post-war government deals with anti-government riots and terrorism. The main protagonist, Kazuki_Fuse, is a member of the elite Kerberos_Panzer_Cops, the Tokyo metropolitan counter-terrorism unit.
