jojo_no_kimyou_na_bouken
Known in the west as JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
An ongoing manga by Araki Hirohiko, and adapted into an anime series by David Production. The series is known for its references to Western music, bizarre Stand (jojo) powers, over-the-top scenes which spawned numerous memes, and the glam style of the characters and poses.
The anime adaptation is known for its use of written manga-styled sound effects (particularly ゴゴゴゴ (menacing)), and for using a western classic song as an ending theme, especially the first two parts' ending theme Roundabout by the British progressive rock band Yes (band).
The story chronicles the adventures of the Joestar bloodline, taking place over many "Parts", each starring a protagonist whose nickname is "JoJo".
