A character from Neon Genesis Evangelion who is the chief operations officer at Nerv. She is the field commander for the Eva_pilots and guardian of Ikari Shinji and Souryuu Asuka Langley who stay at her home.
Misato and her father were involved in the Second Impact as he was a top scientist who in the last moment put Misato in a escape capsule so she could survive the event. Afterwards Misato became crazy with survivor guilt and was admitted into a mental institution for most of her teenage years. After being released in her adult years she developed a very extroverted and cheerful personality to be able to cope with her past tragedies.
Misato has a pet mutant penguin named PenPen; and she was the lover of Kaji Ryouji.
