keffiyeh
A traditional Middle Eastern square-shaped headdress which is generally worn on the head or around the neck like a scarf. Traditionally white with black or net-like red pattern.
There are many different terms to refer to it:
* keffiyeh or kufiya (Arabic: كوفية kūfiyyah, meaning "from the city of Kufa" (الكوفة); plural كوفيات kūfiyyāt)
* ghutrah (غُترَة)
* shemagh (شماغ)
* ḥaṭṭah (حَطّة)
* mashadah (مَشَدة)
* chafiye (Persian: چَفیِه)
* dastmal yazdi (Persian: دستمال یزدی)
* cemedanî (Kurdish: جه مه داني)
