The first game in the Kid Icarus series, released for Famicom in 1986 and Nintendo_Entertainment_System in 1987. Focuses on Pit (kid icarus) as he escapes from the Underworld and collects the Three Sacred Treasures necessary to defeat Medusa (kid icarus).
