ladder_lottery
A type of lottery used to randomly pair items.
The lottery consists of a ladder of vertical lines connected by horizontal lines. The player chooses a line on top and follows the line down, following horizontal lines whenever they're encountered, until they reach a prize at the bottom.
Also known as Ghost Leg in Chinese and Amidakuji in Japanese.
