mauser_c96
A semi-automatic handgun made by German arms manufacturer Mauser from 1896 to 1937. It used an integral box magazine in front of the trigger loaded by stripper clips and had a distinctive "broomhandle" style grip that could be used with a detachable shoulder stock. Originally chambered for the 7.63×25mm Mauser, while later and foreign variants were available in 9mm Parabellum, .45 ACP and more.
This tag also applies to its selective fire variant, the later M-712 Schnellfeuer with higher-capacity removable magazines.
