mega_man_(character)
Known as Rockman in Japan, he is the main titular protagonist of the original_Mega_Man_ series, first debuting in the game_of_the_same_name in 1987. He was given the name Rock (Mega) by his creator, Doctor_Thomas_Light, creating a pun with the name of his sister Roll (mega man), but he was dubbed "Mega Man" after being modified into a super fighting robot.
