A now-defunct American car company. A subsidiary of Ford, the Mercury lineup was designed to be a middle ground between the main Ford brand and the more luxurious (and expensive) Lincoln (company) offerings.
While the company was closed in 2011, Ford actively maintains trademarks related to the brand.
