Misty (pokemon) from Pokémon wearing her costume_mermaid_tail that was first shown in "Hanada Gym! Underwater Battle!" (ハナダジム! すいちゅうのたたかい!, Hanada Jimu! Suichū no Tatakai!), episode 63 of the first Pokémon anime series, Pokémon: Indigo League, which aired on 3 September 1998 in Japan, later aired on 23 September 1999 in the United States as "The Misty Mermaid".
