The most recognizable Disney character, being the de-facto mascot of the company.
He is an anthropomorphic ]] created by Walt Disney and Co. His character design consist of round black ears, [[white gloves red pants with two yellow buttons, and large yellow shoes.
His round head and ears have become a trademark symbol; done in a silhouette, and often hidden in pictures as a running gag. His dark persona version often produces a vicious, characteristic laughter (“ハハッ”).
Within the Japanese community, he is often depicted with censored identity as a spoof to the late 2000s court cases involving Disney Japan suing the fan artists for copyright infringement, which spawned a local meme involving applying the censor across his eye and calling him an "unrelated" character.
Mickey appears with other Disney characters in the video game series Kingdom Hearts.
