The protagonist of the manga and anime series Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. He is a young boy whose body becomes inhabited by the spirit of an Ancient Egyptian pharaoh Atem (known for most of the series as Yami_Yugi) when he completes the Millennium Puzzle. His signature card is the Dark Magician. He is a modern reincarnation of Atem.
