Nippon Ichi Software, sometimes shortened as simply "NIS", is a Japanese video game developer company known for their anime-styled series of SRPGs. Though largely stand-alone, most games appear to be connected in some form through parallel dimensions or some such and crossovers are normal. Most recently, there was even a crossover character between NIS’ Soul_Nomad (Which also featured characters from other NIS games) and Vanillaware’s GrimGrimoire. Most of the character designs have been done by Nomura_Ryoji and Harada Takehito.
