Real life Japanese jockey and horse trainer (retired). As a jockey, he was famous for riding Katsuragi Ace (racehorse) and Yaeno Muteki (racehorse) in the 1980s. As a trainer, his most successful horses were Kawakami Princess (racehorse) and Hokko Tarumae (racehorse).
Nishiura retired in February 2021 as he reached the JRA retirement age of 70.
