Piapro, short for "Peer Production", can refer to several entities owned by Crypton Future Media, Inc:
- Piapro Family, the group of characters owned by Crypton Future Media: MEIKO (vocaloid), KAITO (vocaloid), Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin / Len, and Megurine Luka. Also referred to as "Cryptonloids" by fans.
- piapro.jp, a website for hosting art, music, and writing related to Vocaloid, especially the Piapro Family.
- Piapro Studio, the name for two distinct vocal synth software:
•• The original one is a plugin for digital audio workstations used for working with Vocaloids. It runs on the VOCALOID engine and is more-or-less a wrapped version of the VOCALOID software.
•• The newer one is a standalone engine completely separate from VOCALOID and developed by Crypton themselves.
This tag mainly refers to voicebanks using the standalone Piapro engine.
