pin
Sharp, slender objects used to fasten things together. Unlike sewing needles, which have a hole used for drawing thread, pins have a head like a nail (hardware), but smaller, round, and usually made from plastic. They are commonly used to secure fabrics for sewing or stick papers and photos to bulletin_boards.
