plumeria
A genus of flowering plants in the family Apocynaceae. Most species are deciduous shrubs or small trees that grow in tropical regions. One of the most commonly depicted species is Plumeria rubra, also known as frangipani.
Plumeria flowers are five-petaled with finely defined, overlapping petals. The petal tips are usually rounded. Flowers can be of various colors, but most are multicolored.
In anime art, it is frequently used in beach scenes as a hair ornament or part of a flower necklace.
