A now-defunct American car company that was part of General Motors. Originally founded in 1926, it closed down in 2010 as a result of the 2008 financial crisis.
Pontiac was notably a commonly rebadged marque - several of their vehicles were sold outside of the United States under GMCs foreign brands, including Holden, ]], Vauxhall, and Daewoo.
