Rika, known as Chili (チリ) in Japan, is a member of Elite Four of the Paldea region in Pokémon_Scarlet_and_Violet. She also serves as the receptionist for the Pokémon League, interviewing the player during the first part of the Champion Assessment. She specializes in Ground-type Pokémon, her ace being Clodsire.
She has a laidback and easygoing personality. In the original Japanese she speaks in the Kansai_dialect, though she will temporarily drop it when conducting the interview. She refers to the player as "kiddo" and has a distinct "nahaha" laugh.
Owing to her Japanese name, she is popularly represented by the 🌶️ (chili pepper) emoji among Japanese fanartists.
