He first appears in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars cartoon series, and later returns in the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Anthology film from 2016, where he is portrayed by Forest Whitaker. Whitaker would later reprise his role as the character by performing as his voice_actor in both the third season of Star Wars: Rebels and the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order video game.
Saw Gerrera is the founder and current leader of the Partisans, a rebel group opposed to the Galactic Empire (star Wars).
