Using a camera or cellphone to take_a_picture or video of oneself.
This includes when the image itself is supposed to be the photograph, as taken by the camera. In this case, the camera may not be visible, but is still clearly implied (often by the character's arm appearing to reach_behind_the_viewer's_position).
