shinkansen_henkei_robo_shinkalion
The first TV anime in the ]] franchise, aired from 2018 to 2019 and was followed by a film in late 2019. A sequel, Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion Z, began airing in April 2021.
The anime focuses on kaiju sent by the Kitoralsus. He becomes the pilot of the [[E5_Hayabusa_(shinkalion)" class="wiki-tag-link">Hayasugi Hayato, who unintentionally finds out his father is a member of a secret government organization that uses the eponymous mecha to fight kaiju sent by the Kitoralsus. He becomes the pilot of the [[E5 Hayabusa (shinkalion), and makes friends with other kids who are recruited as pilots alongside him.
