A car company founded in 1994 as a subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz, primarily focused on producing small city cars and subcompacts. Their most recognizable model is the Smart ForTwo.
As of 2019, the marque is now a joint venture with Zhejiang Geely, which has moved the brand towards producing more electric cars.
