A Soviet era girls' school uniform, in use from 1949 to 1992 (after 1984 only for those under 16). Easily mistaken by outsiders as a maid uniform.
Usually accompanied by white frilly bows, and a Pioneer neckerchief, which almost all schoolchildren under the age of 14 wore.
