It is a science fiction and fantasy story set in a faraway galaxy. Chronicling the galactic-scale conflict primarily involves the benevolent Jedi and the evil Sith faction.
The Star Wars saga has had a significant impact on popular culture; is one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time. Because of its huge success across the world during the late 70s, several media including Japanese anime and manga from that era were heavily inspired by it.
