tandem_bicycle
A tandem or twin bicycle is a form of bicycle (or tricycle) designed to be ridden and pedaled by more than one person. The term tandem refers to the seating arrangement from fore to aft, as opposed to side-by-side, and does not refer to the number of riders.
Bicycles where the multiple riders are side-by-side are referred to as a sociable or buddy bike.
