train_suite_shiki-shima
A luxury excursion train operated by East Japan Railway Company. The train was designed by Japanese industrial designer Ken Okuyama who also worked on projects such as the Ferrari_Enzo and the Shinkansen_E6_Komachi, and has an emphasis on traditional Japanese design and craftsmanship as well as modernism. The train itself is bi-mode electro-diesel, allowing it to operate on both electrified and non-electrified rail lines. It is considered one of most luxurious trains in the world.
