USS Missouri (BB-63) is the third of the four Iowa-class battleship built for the United States Navy.
She is best known as the site of the_signing_of_the_instrument_of_surrender of the Empire of Japan to mark the official end of World War II on September 2, 1945.
She is currently served as a museum ship at Pearl Harbor, being moored directly across the USS Arizona Memorial.
