The Type 2 is a light commercial vehicle (van or pickup truck) first produced in 1950 by Volkswagen. Also known as the Transporter, Kombi, Microbus, Bus, and by many other names. Its has iconic design and became widely associated with hippie subculture. Production ceased in 2013.
