The act of cutting one's own wrists to commit suicide by way of exsanguination. It is also used as a form of non-lethal self-mutilation or more rarely on others as a form of torture.
This tag also applies when it looks like the character is about to commit the act or has just committed the act.
Usually done with a boxcutter, though other sharp objects will also do.
